Artistic Gymnastics for Girls
We are a Womens Artistic Gymnastics Club providing classes for girls from walking age upwards. Fun, structured and progressive sessions that will see your child grow into a confident, determined and accomplished gymnast
Furness Gymnastics Club has been helping girls reach their potential in gymnastics since the 1970s, within the Women's Artistic discipline.
Run as a not-for-profit club and through the support of many dedicated volunteers, we provides classes for over 300 gymnasts a week. Classes are provided for complete beginners right through to competitive gymnasts, making sure there is something for children of all ages and abilities

We have decades of experience within our team, and have had success at county, regional and national levels. Our qualified coaches are trained to the highest standard through British Gymnastics

We are very lucky to have a well equipment permanent gymnastics hall. Our facilities include the asymmetric bars, trampettes, several beams, vaulting tables and a full size floor area. Our beautiful viewing balcony retains the historical features of Greater Kings Hall.
We are also have a foam block safety pit, which allows our gymnasts to tackle new moves without the fear of injury.
In 2013/14 one of our coaches, a local filmmaker, approached the club about shooting a short gymnastics film at our club. The film featured many of our gymnasts.

The film called FIghting for Perfection can be watched here
Gymnasts who are placed in a Competitive Squad class work towards various competitions throughout the year.
Gymnasts compete at different levels based on their age and ability, working their way from novice competitions to regional and national levels.
